Hello Spring, Goodbye Winter Bedding

Springtime is the perfect time to refresh & rejuvenate your home interior. As you make your way through your spring cleaning checklist, don’t forget about your winter bedding. It is important to properly wash & store your blankets, comforters and heavy linens with this change of season.

Before you pack away your bedding  for the warmer months to come, it is important to make sure everything is clean and stain-free. Even if your linens look clean, the oils on your body and hair can cause discoloration, so it is so important to give it a deep clean before storing. Once washed, make sure to use the low heat settings on your dryer.  And once dry, fold your bedding up as neatly as possible and store in airtight container to keep out dust, allergens and moths. The ideal place to store these items is in a linen closet or in a dark place (like under your bed in proper storage bins) to avoid any discoloration.
